NEWS: Music from the soundtrack of Universal pictures Paul release don February 28

The music of the Original Motion Picture ? Feb 28 Universal Music

In the comedy adventure Paul best friends Graeme Willy (SIMON PEGG of Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) and Clive Gollings (NICK FROST of Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) were recorded for decades, science fiction film fan trip of a life: a pilgrimage to the heart of America UFO to follow legendary hot spots of extraterrestrial activity. But when a close encounter with an alien named Paul derails, than the plans?their dream vacation turns into a trip that will rock their world forever.

Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of Ruth Buggs (KRISTEN WIIG of night Date, Knocked Up), a young woman they removed accidentally, Graeme and Clive hatch a clumsiness plan to return to its mother ship in one piece of Paul. And as two nerds fight to help save a little green man awesome, Paul could just take her colleagues banned from misfits to the Intergalactic heroes.

Directed by GREG MOTTOLA (Superbad, Adventureland), and a script written by frequent collaborators Pegg & Frost, Paul plays an impressive comic support lineup includes JASON BATEMAN (Hancock), BILL HADER (Pineapple Express), BLYTHE DANNER (Little Fockers), JOE LO TRUGLIO (models), JOHN CARROLL LYNCH (Get Smart)JANE LYNCH (Glee television), JEFFREY TAMBOR (Arrested Development TV) and SIGOURNEY WEAVER (Avatar).

Of course no road movie is complete without a lot of great songs designed to keep the heart pumping, and Paul certainly offers. In accordance with the well documented love of science fiction that share Pegg and Frost, each track has some link to science fiction. This is a more diverse classical collection of a range of genres such as Punk ("another girl another planet" ? The only Ones), soul ("just the two us" ? Bill Withers & Grover Washington, Jr., "Got to Give It Up" - Marvin Gaye) Rock N Roll ("flying saucer Rock N Roll" - Bill Lee Riley), 70's Pop / Rock ("Hello it's me" - Todd Rundgren, "Dancing in The Moonlight" - King Harvest, "all over The World" - Elo), Reggae ("I Chase The Devil" ? Max Romeo) and science fiction from 1950s inspired "Planet Clare" by the B52. Even the band Cantina "Syd Masters & The Swing Riders" is a resumption of rock-a-billy music playing in the bar on Tatooine in Star Wars: a new hope ? celebrates the favorite film of Simon Pegg.
