4 Apr-2011 - music by composer award-winning the adventures of EB and Easter Island are number one at the box office. Universal Pictures HOP is 38.1 million to claim the title of highest Box-Office weekend opening in 2011 for the moment. The film is marked by the award-winning composer Christopher lennertz, who also collaborated with the Director of HOP Tim Hill on the 2007 Box-Office champion Alvin and the Chipmunks. Featuring Russell Brand and James Marsden, this combination of State-of-the-art animation and action online tells the story of a slacker out work which injures the Easter Bunny and hold him while he recovers. The score came out the Varese Sarabande Records. Director Tim Hill described Christopher Lennertz scores for Hop as "lush, diverse, vivid, magical, playful, yet unified." He added, "I love what Chris is doing with its themes and how he kept living in the orchestration percussion throughout." He found places to raise the scenes with the colours and signs of punctuation where I had never thought possible. The score as the major keys, ranging from a style of classical animation based on blues and percussion led parts, which all add up to a thrilling listening experience. "Hop producer Chris Meledandri (enchanted Me, ice age) was also impressed with a score of Lennertz for the film:"Chris wrote beautiful music for this film." "As a storyteller, music definitely added another dimension to the film weaving narrative, evoking emotion, building suspense and the support of humour," he explains.
